DON'T RISK THE BREAKDOWN OF YOUR MOST VALUABLE RECORDED DATA.

Corrosion Intercept Technology
Contrary to previous belief, research is now showing that CDs, DVDs and CDRs are vulnerable to oxidation, corrosive gases, and UV breakdown. A new technology has been developed to slow this destruction down, and is known as CORROSION INTERCEPT TECHNOLOGY. CDs and DVDs stored in sleeves, pages and cases utilizing this technology show a 30 times longer shelf-life than those stored in regular storage containers.
This technology uses molecular-sized copper fragments impregnated into the materials to neutralize noxious pollutants that attack and degrade information stored on CDs and DVDs. This technology also protects CDs and DVDs from electrostatic discharge (ESD) which can also destroy data and can be produced by simply touching a CD/DVD after walking across a carpeted floor.
For extra protection, the translucent archival polyester that is used in these products has been treated to shield the stored items from UV rays. http://www.bagsunlimited.com/c-519-corrosion-intercept.aspx
