Storage boxes can be confusing....i.e. what is the best type and size to use for my collectibles, and what materials are better than others?
What should I look for when searching for storage boxes?
We might have a few answers for you!
Depending on what you're storing, you will want to make sure the box is particular to that certain collectible. If you want to store magazines, what TYPE of magazines, and what year are they? Different years have different sizes in some cases. Find a box meant for that particular magazine.
Look for the TEST WEIGHT...if the test weight is 250 lbs. that is the recommended weight that box can withstand.
What material? Well, acid free corrugated is a standard "go to" box, however, PLASTIC corrugated can help prevent damage depending upon where you are storing your collectibles.
